Context
Most budgeting apps assume a stable connection and a patient user. People log expenses in line at the bakery, often with poor signal.
Approach
Entries are written to local storage first and synced through an append-only log, so conflicts resolve deterministically on the server.
Highlights
- Two-tap entry flow tested one-handed
- Append-only sync log with deterministic conflict resolution
- Monthly summary readable by screen readers without charts
Outcome
Still in progress: the sync engine works, the budgeting views are next.
